PANOPTIX™ PS70: Deep-Water Live Sonar Transducer (300m/1000ft Range)

The Panoptix™ PS70 is Garmin’s high-power, stainless steel thru-hull transducer, designed for **deep-sea anglers** who need live sonar views at extreme depths. Powered by **Garmin RapidReturn™ sonar**, the PS70 delivers real-time, live imaging up to **300 meters (1,000 feet)** below the surface. Its robust design, wide beam angle, and 800-watt power output ensure unparalleled performance in coastal and open-water environments.

LIVE SONAR: CATCH FISH DEEP

The PS70 uses an 800-watt multi-beam phased array to provide live, detailed sonar feedback at ranges previously impossible with this technology.

KEY DEEP-WATER SONAR FEATURES

  • Extreme Depth Capability: See real-time live sonar images down to **300 meters (1,000 feet)**, allowing you to track small baitfish and target game fish in the deepest columns.
  • Multiple Sonar Modes: Includes **LiveVü™ Down** (real-time live sonar), **Traditional Sonar** (crisp fish arches), **Triple-Beam Sonar** (3-way split view), and **RealVü™ 3D Sonar** (historical scanning and ocean floor mapping).
  • High-Power Output: 800-watt transmit power gives you stronger sonar penetration through the water for superior target definition at range.
  • High-Speed Display: Displays live sonar at a minimum of **10 frames per second**, ensuring fluid, real-time returns that are 6 to 8 times faster than standard competition.

INSTALLATION AND RUGGEDNESS

The stainless steel PS70 is engineered for high-speed operation and permanent thru-hull installation on deep-sea vessels:

  • **Thru-Hull Mounting:** Can be flush mounted or pocket mounted. Includes a fairing block to accommodate deadrise angles of 0 to 20 degrees.
